Understanding the fare
¥159,500 is a sample fare based on an actual booking, for a large bus with 40 people and 6 hours.
The bus, driver, fuel and vehicle insurance are included, and the amount stays the same if your group grows or shrinks within the seating capacity.
Expressway tolls to central Tokyo and parking fees at stops such as Asakusa are charged separately at actual cost.
Weekends and peak seasons cost more than weekdays: about 20% higher as a rough guideline. If you tell us the date, times and addresses of the stops, we will prepare a quotation for your itinerary.
Choosing the bus
40 people fit comfortably in a large bus (48–60 seats including jump seats).
A medium bus (27–33 seats) cannot carry all 40 people.
FAQ
- What should we do about the driver's lunch?
- In most cases, customers arrange it. If you tell the restaurant how many drivers there are, it may be able to prepare meals for the drivers. This is not mandatory.
- Can we eat boxed lunches (bento) on the bus?
- Yes, you can. Please take your trash with you.
- Can we change destinations on a rainy day?
- As a rule, national operating regulations do not allow itinerary changes on the day. Cancelling because of the weather is treated as a customer-side cancellation and is subject to cancellation fees, so it helps to plan a rainy-day itinerary in advance.
