About this itinerary

Based on an actual booking for a group of about 15 people (group trips and social outings).

Along the way, it stops at the Imperial Palace, Asakusa and Akihabara, and the tour ends at Shin-Kiba.

It leaves Haneda Airport at 12:10 and is scheduled to arrive around 18:20.

Suitcases are loaded into the luggage compartment at the airport and stay there, so there is no need to carry luggage through transfers beyond Haneda Airport.

Itinerary

  1. 12:10Haneda Airport

A Tokyo airport with domestic Terminals 1 and 2 and Terminal 3, which mainly handles international flights. The Keikyu Line and Tokyo Monorail connect it to central Tokyo.

  2. Imperial Palace

The Imperial Palace stands on the site of Edo Castle. The paths around it, bordered by moats and stone walls, are popular for walking and jogging.

  3. Asakusa

An old downtown district known for Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon Gate. With the souvenir shops of Nakamise and rickshaws, a walk here gives a feel of old Edo.

  4. Akihabara

Known as an electronics district, with shops for home appliances and computers as well as specialty stores for anime and games.

  5. 18:20Shin-Kiba

A station where the JR Keiyo Line, Rinkai Line and Yurakucho Line meet, used for transfers toward the bayside area.

Understanding the fare

¥110,000 is a sample fare based on an actual booking, for a small bus with 15 people and 6.5 hours.

This amount includes the small bus, the driver, fuel and vehicle insurance.

Expressway tolls to central Tokyo and parking fees at stops such as the Imperial Palace are not included in the fare and are charged separately at actual cost.

On weekends, public holidays and in peak seasons, expect about 20% higher than on weekdays as a guideline. If you tell us the date, times and addresses of the stops, we will prepare a quotation for your itinerary.

Choosing the bus

15 people fit comfortably in a small bus (21–25 seats).

The luggage compartment holds about 15 suitcases (a guideline).

If the 15 people also have large luggage, moving up to a medium bus gives more room inside (the fare is higher).

A commuter van (13 seats) cannot carry all 15 people.

FAQ

Where do we board the bus at Haneda Airport?
If you let us know your flight number and arrival time (or departure time), we will check for a pickup spot near the airport where charter buses can stop and let you know.
What should we do about the driver's lunch?
In most cases, customers arrange it. If you tell the restaurant how many drivers there are, it may be able to prepare meals for the drivers. This is not mandatory.
Does the fare change if our group grows or shrinks from 15 people?
As long as you stay within the seating capacity of the small bus, the fare is the same even if the number of people changes. If you exceed the capacity, the bus type changes, and so does the fare.
