About this itinerary

A group of about 25 people (an inbound tour group) travels from Naha Port to central Okinawa on a day trip.

Along the way, it stops at American Village, AEON Mall Okinawa Rycom and Okinawa Kodomo no Kuni (Okinawa Zoo & Museum), and the tour ends at Naha Port.

It leaves Naha Port at 12:00 and is scheduled to arrive around 20:00.

Rail on Okinawa Island is limited to the Yui Rail monorail, so a charter bus is a practical way to link sightseeing spots that are far apart.

With no station transfers or ticket purchases, getting around is easier even for travelers unfamiliar with Japanese public transport.

Understanding the fare

¥106,700 is a sample fare based on an actual booking, for a medium bus with 25 people and 8 hours.

The bus, driver, fuel and vehicle insurance are included, and the amount stays the same if your group grows or shrinks within the seating capacity.

Expressway tolls to central Okinawa and parking fees at stops such as American Village are charged separately at actual cost.

Even for the same itinerary, allow about 20% higher than on weekdays for weekends and peak seasons. Fares are based on the driver's working hours and the distance driven, so even a 30-minute change in times may change the fare.

Choosing the bus

25 people fit comfortably in a medium bus (27–33 seats).

The luggage compartment holds about 20 suitcases (a guideline).

If you have a lot of luggage or want more room in the seats, you can also choose a large bus. The fare is higher accordingly.

Depending on the vehicle, a small bus (21–25 seats) may not fit 25 people, so check the number of seats before deciding.

FAQ

Are there English-speaking drivers?
In some areas, drivers who can handle English are available. Please ask when you book.
Is there an extra charge if traffic delays our return?
Delays for unavoidable reasons such as traffic congestion are not subject to extra charges. If the itinerary is changed for the customer's own reasons, the additional amount will be billed later.
Can we change destinations on a rainy day?
As a rule, national operating regulations do not allow itinerary changes on the day. Cancelling because of the weather is treated as a customer-side cancellation and is subject to cancellation fees, so it helps to plan a rainy-day itinerary in advance.
